Erin Burnett (born in the American state of New York) is an American journalist and news anchor and currently hosts her own CNN show "Erin Burnett's Outfront". Her previous work included hosting and working on CNBC for the show, "Squawk" on the Street" and "Street Signs" in addition to anchoring the show as a coanchor. As she's been on a variety of news shows, many people are familiar with her. Burnett is a Donald Trump advisor who makes frequent appearances on the show 'The Celebrity Apprentice.' Her reputation is based on her dynamic and analytical journalistic style, which sets her apart from other of the newscasters. Burnett was the host of her program, 'Erin Burnett Outfront' on live television at the borders of Mali and Afghanistan. Alongside these countries Burnett also has covered events in China and Pakistan. Burnett's documentaries filmed in countries other in the United States earned her the title 'International Superstar' when she was working for NBC. Her films included documentaries in India in addition to Libya, Russia and Nigeria. She focuses primarily on Middle Eastern-based news. Apart from the reporting aspect, she has been part of the Council on Foreign Relations.
