April Lockhart
April Lockhart is a born July 4 in 1995. In the seventh grade she began taking guitar lessons and piano lessons. This ignited her passion for music writing. In the seventh grade she began to take guitar and piano lessons. The lessons sparked her passion to write songs. She spent lots of time when she was 14 writing songs and practicing the piano. Soon, April began to take trips to NY and LA along with her dad to help them compose songs. April also began to include other related topics for some of her peers who are dealing with issues such as bullying by peers and teenage suicide as depicted in the song Take my Hand. Lockhart collaborates with popular cosmetics brand Ilia and also is a lifestyle influencer with her own growing following. Her birthplace didn't come with a left-hand, which is the reason she's what she is. It's just not the full story. The profile of Lockhart on Twitter does not shy away from her status as disabled however, it doesn't make a point of it. The message is? The message is that we are more than the physical person we are. Our identities are multifaceted and we contain many different elements. Lockhart says in a video interview with Lockhart in a video interview "I am not convinced that my physical appearance should define my character. It's not my intention to influence disabilities because I've got so much more to offer." The fact that she is a disability influencer doesn't impact my life. It's all normal, and I've learned to make adjustments. In addition, I see it to be a vital aspect of me. Lockhart is a huge inspiration to her fellow women with regards to self-acceptance. She has gone through phases where she was uncomfortable wearing certain clothing styles which showed her arms. She wears what she likes and posts photos of herself wearing the clothes she wears on social platforms. It's all a process is what I'm not certain that it will be an end of self-love. This is true for everyone, no matter what their degree of self-confidence. It's important to surround yourself with those who are able to understand you.
