Gina Joy Carano began her career as a fighter. She was also dubbed the "Face of Women's MMA. She was named The Face Of Women's MMA after beginning her career as a fighter in Muay Thai. Her Muay Thai records are amazing 12 wins, with only one loss. She is also the first American woman to take home a title within Thailand with Muay Thai. As a child she took gymnastics and ballet jazz tap. Also, she excelled in volleyball, basketball and softball. Jiujitsu is yet another talent she possess. She has won seven times and only one loss in her MMA. Her combination of power techniques and relaxed attitude, as well as her gorgeous looks and laid back style that led to her becoming a huge MMA star. Haywire and Fast & Furious 6' were the two Hollywood blockbuster films she acted in. Some critics claimed that she was relying on her sexual appeal for success. Fans continued to show her their love despite the harsh critiques. Many people are inspired by her talent, character and perseverance.
